What We’re Looking For

  • Can make a mean mood board? Is your idea of fun rearranging a room just because, you might be our person. You don’t need to be a professional designer, but you should love great design and be able to recommend products our audience can’t help but *click and shop*

  • You know your way around interior design basics (color palettes, furniture placement, basic design rules , and why that rug is way too small) No client design work, but you’ll need to understand Homzie’s style and help create helpful teaching content (Google is free 😉)

  • You are one organized lady! You live for efficiency and love setting up systems that keep everything running like a well-oiled machine. You’re all about working smarter, not harder—whether that means managing content schedules, tracking leads, or making sure analytics are reported on time. Project management? Easy. Juggling multiple tasks? A breeze. You thrive on structure, love a good checklist, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • You don’t just use Canva—you make it your playground. Whether it’s whipping up Instagram graphics, blog visuals, or email headers, you make content look clean, stylish, and on-brand every time. Always matching the perfect fonts and nailing that brand style guide

  • Social media isn’t just something you scroll—it’s something you create. You’re comfortable in Canva, InShot, or CapCut. You know how to take raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging content that stops the scroll. Whether it’s editing videos, designing social graphics, or formatting blog posts, you love bringing visuals to life and keeping everything on-brand.

  • This is a part-time remote, independent contractor position. If you’re local to Birmingham, AL that’s a bonus! - not required. Pay is determined by skill and experience level, which is approximately $20-$25/hr

    I am looking for someone who LOVES interior design and can create design-related content (LTK boards, Reels, write blogs, etc) like it was second nature. Someone highly organized, an independent self-starter, who is committed to Homzie and serving our community of over 100,000 followers. Loving Homzie and what we do is a key!

    ** I am not looking for agencies who work with a wide ariety of content creation or design clients. I really want someone committed to our brand.

What You can Expect to Do with Homzie

The bulk of this position is managing and running our LTK by creating both boards & videos to share the latest home decor, design deals, and Anna’s home finds. Plus a little fashion 😉

Create LTK CONTENT

Blog creation

We have over 1 million views on Pinteres per month and we want to do more to draw them back to our website by writing helpful blog content that will serve them and our efforts well.

LTK Done-For-You Designs

We’re bringing back our popular done-for-you designs. This is your chance to be the designer. Creating curated shoppable boards based on what our audience wants to see!

Email creation

Twice a month we send our emails to our entire list of over 11,500 and counting! We want to continue to nurture and serve our audience as we encourage them to work with us 1:1

Edit LTK & IG Reels

While I’ll film the content, you’ll put it all together creating striking reels that capture our audience’s attention and leave them wanting more. Confidence with Inshot/CapCut required.

Administrative tasks

You will create and use systems within our management software to keep track of leads, engage with social comments, tasks, and create reports around our social media efforts.

What Else?

  • Future opportunities for growth inside of Homzie include facilitating our Brand and Influencer Collaborations. You would reach out to brands & influencers, keep track of campaigns, and track results.

  • Connect and engage with Homzie’s large audience across our social media platforms. Providing insight, encouragement, and design advice where appropriate.

  • Have the gift of sales and persuasion on top of all your other skills? There is a potential opportunity to earn commissions by converting potential clients through our DM sales funnel on social media.

My deepest desire is to help people create life-giving environments within their homes that restore, inspire, and help them gather the people they love together. While working in ministry at a local church for six years, I saw just how powerful well-designed spaces were in achieving that vision. The environments we create in our homes have the power to change the way we feel, even our lives, for ourselves and others. That’s why I started Homzie in 2019.

I dreamed of helping people take the hard work out of home decorating by creating a seamless online interior design experience. Giving them the confidence to open the doors to their homes. To date, Homzie has helped hundreds of clients from across the country decorate like pros. It’s incredible to be able to turn our clients’ homes into spaces they love to share.

Home is personal, we believe the design experience should be also.
